Abstract

Cloud computing systems have become the backbone of modern IT infrastructure due to their ability to offer scalable, flexible, and
cost-efficient solutions. However, developing cloud-based systems that are both scalable and robust poses significant challenges. This article explores the best software engineering practices for developing cloud computing systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance optimization. The paper provides an overview of key techniques such as microservices architecture, containerization, distributed systems design, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. By analyzing these practices, we aim to provide insights into building cloud systems that can meet the growing demands of users and enterprises. The findings are supported by case studies and examples from leading industry players
