Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Nanotechnology has revolutionized environmental monitoring by enabling real-time data acquisition, intelligent decision-making, and enhanced detection sensitivity. This fusion has paved the way for developing smart environmental systems capable of predicting, analyzing, and mitigating pollution at micro and nano levels. AI algorithms, when combined with nanosensors, provide precise identification of environmental pollutants such as heavy metals, carbon emissions, and organic contaminants. Moreover, machine learning models aid in processing massive datasets generated by nanosensors, optimizing response systems, and forecasting environmental risks. This paper explores the synergy between AI and nanotechnology in developing smart environmental monitoring systems, discussing advancements, applications, and challenges within the Pakistani and global context.
