Abstract

The integration of smart sensors and actuators has revolutionized precision automation, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and adaptability across various industries. This paper explores the advancements in smart sensing technologies and their synergistic application with actuators in automation systems. Emphasizing the role of the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning, the study examines how these technologies facilitate real-time data acquisition, processing, and responsive actuation. The challenges of interoperability, data security, and system integration are also discussed, alongside future directions for research and development. This comprehensive analysis aims to provide insights into the transformative impact of smart sensors and actuators on modern automation practices.
