Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have emerged as pivotal components in the realm of electronics due to their exceptional electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties. This study delves into the synthesis methods, characterization techniques, and potential applications of CNTs in electronic devices. Various synthesis approaches, including chemical vapor deposition (CVD), arc discharge, and laser ablation, are examined for their efficacy in producing CNTs with desired structural and electronic characteristics. Characterization methods such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction (XRD) are employed to assess the morphology, purity, and alignment of the synthesized CNTs. The integration of CNTs into electronic components like transistors, sensors, and interconnects is discussed, highlighting their role in enhancing device performance and miniaturization. Challenges related to scalability, uniformity, and functionalization of CNTs are also addressed, providing insights into future directions for research and development in CNT-based electronics.
